A Timeline

YearEvent
1962Ravens Hollow High opens. Principal Howard Vane cuts the ribbon. Smiling photos in the local paper.
1971East Wing added. Four new classrooms. Nothing unusual… yet.
1973FIRST DISAPPEARANCE: custodian Walter Gribbs, age 54, fails to come home. Chief of police declares "probably walked into the woods." (He was afraid of the woods.)
1974East Wing SEALED OFF. Official reason: "asbestos." No work crews ever came. The door was welded shut.
1979Three students go missing on a field trip that never left the parking lot. The bus driver remembers loading them. He does not remember unloading them.
1981The RED DOOR in the basement is padlocked after a student claims she saw "a room full of chairs that face the wall." She transferred to another school the next week.
1984English teacher Ms. Helena Crane vanishes mid-lesson. Her chalk was still warm. The sentence on the board read: "It is already inside."
1989The AV club photo night. Twelve students. Ten came back. The photo, developed the next day, shows twelve faces.
1992Pool closed "for repairs." Never reopened. Water level has never changed.
1996Two seniors explore the boiler room. One runs out. The other is found the next morning sitting in class, calm, with no memory of the previous night. He never speaks again.
1998I start this website. πŸ€·β€β™‚οΈ

The School Itself

Ravens Hollow High is a big, ugly brick building. Two floors, plus the basement everyone pretends doesn't exist. There are 63 classrooms, 4 of which are in the sealed East Wing. There is one gym, one cafeteria (serves the WORST pizza, honestly), one library built on top of what used to be… well, the records say "storage."

The school mascot is the Ravens. The football team is fine. The cheerleaders avoid the east hallway during practice, but they won't say why.

"The building is not haunted. The building is fine. The building is NORMAL."
β€” Principal Howard Vane, school newsletter, October 1984 (one month before Ms. Crane vanished)
