πŸ” THE MISSING

"Pray for us, for we pray for them. The cellar prays too."

πŸ“Ώ If you have news of any of these girls, pray, and then email me: sister_scratch@aol.com    Every name matters.    πŸ•―οΈ
πŸ‘§ Elise Marchand FIRST
Age: 11  |  Last seen: March 3, 1934  |  Status: NEVER FOUND
Location: On the path from dormitory to chapel, 5:58 AM.
"Her rosary was found in the bell tower, wound around the clapper. The beads were cold. The Lord's Prayer had been said 33 times. She had only said 12." β€” diary of Sister Colette, March 1934
πŸ‘§ Theresa "Tess" Whitfield
Age: 16  |  Last seen: Dec 13, 1962  |  Status: NEVER FOUND
Location: Cellar stairs (the sealed door).
Tess told her roommate the Sister Superior was "praying in the cellar at midnight." The next morning her bed was cold and her rosary was missing. The trapdoor in the cellar was found open. It had been nailed shut in 1958.
πŸ‘— The Class of '77 FOUR
Missing: 4 of 17  |  Date: May 1, 1977  |  Status: NEVER FOUND
Names: Patricia Hoyle (15), Ruth Amos (16), Gladys Fenn (14), Mary Kett (15).
Their dormitory photographs were removed from the yearbook. I own the original prints. In every photo there are five girls, not four. The fifth has no face. She is smiling.
πŸ‘§ Sister Agatha (posthumous) (MOSTLY-FOUND-ish)
Incident: 1956–present  |  Status: INTERRED but ACTIVE πŸ’€
She was buried in 1956. The grave is intact. The roses bloom in December. Girls in Room 7 report breathing from the empty third bed β€” slow, wet, patient. The breath condenses on the pillow. The pillow smells of incense and iron.

If you know something…

Email me at sister_scratch@aol.com or sign the guestbook. Anonymous is permitted. The Sisters must not find your name. Several of these girls have sisters still living. They are still waiting. πŸ•―οΈ
