Welcome to Maplewood...

Hey!! I'm sk8rgrl99. This site is about Maplewood Middle School in Maplewood, Connecticut. It's a big ugly brown brick building with three floors of classrooms and one thousand three hundred and fourteen lockers. One of them is alive. It is number 113. It chose me.

Four kids have gone missing since 1989. All of them had locker 113 "for a week" before they vanished. The locker is now missing too. The janitor says it was "renovated." He does not make eye contact anymore. His eyes are locker-colored now.

"Every locker has a face. You just haven't looked at 113's yet." β€” the custodian, 1994

Quick facts

  • Opened 1975. Three grades: 6, 7, 8. (And the fourth floor. Don't ask.)
  • Four confirmed missing since 1989. The school calls them "transfer students." (Nobody transferred in.)
  • The third-floor drinking fountain has mold shaped like a face. It is warm. It is pulsing. The nurse says "dehydrate normally." She is not at school today.
  • Locker 113's combination is 11-3-13. It has been. Always. The lock was removed last year. It still only opens with 11-3-13.
  • The honor roll board in the lobby has a name on it that is not a student. It reads: "Marrow." M-A-R-R-O-W. Painted over. Returns. Returns. Returns.
