๐Ÿ“œ HISTORY OF EASTBROOK

"Eastbrook does not change principals. Eastbrook does not need to."

A Timeline

YearEvent
1909Eastbrook High opens. First principal: Edmund Hadley I. The cornerstone is laid by persons unknown.
1939Edmund Hadley II becomes principal. He is described as "his father's image." He is described, by older students, as "identical."
1958The detention room is added in the basement. There was no basement in 1909. There is now. The building superintendent adds it to the plans, dated 1909. (He is forced to resign.)
1971Edmund Hadley III becomes principal. He is 32. He has a wife, two children, and a filing system. The filing system is older than him.
1981First missing: Scott Moyer, 16. Last seen in detention. The chair in the detention room is found facing the wrong wall. The wall has a keyhole. The keyhole has Scott's breath mark on it.
1987The librarian, Mrs. Caine, retires. Her replacement is named Mr. Hadley IV. He is 28. He is not related. He wears the same tie.
1994The hallway clock stops and restarts on its own. Mr. Hadley is observed winding it at 4:44 PM, not noon. He says this is "a habit."
1996A visitor (a district inspector) is found in the principal's office after hours, sitting in the chair, facing the wall, asleep. He has been asleep for 11 hours. He has not aged. He is filed as "absent."
1998I start this site. ๐Ÿ–‹๏ธ (See also: Edmund Hadley I's signature, identical to Mr. Hadley III's.)
