EASTBROOK HIGH

Welcome to Eastbrook...

I'm hallpass99, and this page is about Eastbrook High School, in Eastbrook, Pennsylvania — a red-brick schoolhouse that has educated this town since 1909. Our principal is Mr. Hadley. He is polite. He is tall. He keeps a perfect filing system. He has been principal since 1971. His father was principal before him (1939–1971). His grandfather was principal before that (1909–1939). Three generations. Same name. Same tie. Same office. Same shoe. Seven students have gone missing since 1981. The records are in order. Mr. Hadley filed the paper work himself. Within the hour.

"This school has always been mine. I mean — it has always been Ours. The hours. The minutes. The years." — Mr. Hadley, 1996

Quick facts

• Opened 1909. The original cornerstone reads: "May Eastbrook guard what Eastbrook owns." Nobody knows who laid the stone.
• Seven confirmed missing since 1981. Mr. Hadley filed all seven reports within the hour.
• The detention room is in the basement. It was not in 1971. It has a chair facing the wall.
• The hallway clock on the third floor has not been wound since 1944. It keeps perfect time. Mr. Hadley winds it at noon, every day. He was not born in 1944.
• The principal's office has a closet. The closet has a door. The door has no handle, but a keyhole. The keyhole faces inward. Do not look through a keyhole from the wrong side.
