πŸ” THE MISSING

"Seven kids. Seven files. All filed within the hour. By the same handwriting."

πŸ‘¦Scott Moyer FIRST
Age: 16  |  Last seen: Oct 14, 1981  |  Status: NEVER FOUND
Location: Detention room, basement, 3:45 PM.
"Scott was given detention for skipping. The chair in the detention room faces the wall. On the wall, a single eye-high keyhole. Through it: a room with infinite desks and one person at each, all working, all in silence. Scott's breath mark was on the keyhole glass. He was on the other side of the glass now." β€” janitor, 1981
πŸ‘§Dana Reyes
Age: 15  |  Last seen: Feb 2, 1986  |  Status: NEVER FOUND
Location: Hallway outside Mr. Hadley's office, 3:55 PM.
Dana asked Mr. Hadley a question. He invited her into the office. She accepted. The office door closed. Through the keyhole of the outer door, a substitute teacher saw Dana and Mr. Hadley sitting together. Then the outer door opened. Only Mr. Hadley was inside. The chair across his desk had Dana's warmth in it. The warmth lasted three hours.
πŸ‘¦πŸ‘§The Couple β€” Luis & Teresa Varga TWO
Ages: 17, 17  |  Incident: June 4, 1992  |  Status: NEVER FOUND
Luis and Teresa were study-hall partners. They asked permission to use the library after hours. Mr. Hadley signed the pass. The library CCTV showed them walking in at 4:00 PM. The library has no rear exit. The sign-out sheet, signed by Mr. Hadley, shows their checkout at 7:22 PM. They are in the library. The cameras show them leaving. The hallway cameras do not. Mr. Hadley's office log notes "approved, 4:00 PM, returned 7:22 PM" in his hand. The clock on his wall reads 7:22 AM.
πŸ‘”Dr. Whitfield, Superintendent (OBSERVED)
Age: 52  |  Incident: 1996  |  Status: UNHARMED (transformed)
The inspector was found asleep in the principal's chair, facing the wall, for 11 hours. He woke up at 11:11 AM. He drove home. He sent a memo three days later recommending that Mr. Hadley be "retained indefinitely as principal of record." He spells it R-e-c-o-r-d. He does not explain the word. Eastbrook has not had an inspection since.

If you know something…

Email hallpass99@aol.com or sign the guestbook. If a Hadley offers you a tour of the office, decline politely. The principal never leaves. He does not need to. The school is his.
